
Mihi Whakaora is a one-day wānanga exploring key aspects of tangihanga and how this process is important when working through grief, especially for whānau Māori affected by Suicide.
The Mihi Whakakaora wānanga draw from kaumātua knowledge systems, to provide a Māori framework for working with mental health, understanding also ways of working with people effected by suicide or at risk of suicide. The facilitation team have experience in suicide prevention, mental health and addiction treatment and have years of experience working with whānau Māori.
There is no fee to participate in this 1 day wānanga.

A new date for the Hui Fono will be decided, pending the outcome of the COVID restrictions.

This Healing wānanga has been established for those whānau members who have been bereaved by suicide.
